oh look. its janel's blog.
The Introduction - because apparently some thought i never updated this.
its us again
i changed the picture again.
i know it looks weird, but come on. its an amateur attempt. give some credit.
in this blog, i blog about my daily life, and certain rants on how little things irk and annoy me.
welcome, to janelleys-world.
well firstly i thought that i want to change my blog to livejournal [because some people are continually trying to convince me to change], but i changed my mind.
this blog lasted more than 200 entries, a proud record, i must say, at the rate of how people are always changing their blogs nowadays.
but i'm not known well enough, i dont even suscribe to nuffnang [i might someday. just not now.]
so yea. enjoy reading, whatever nonsensical things i write or say or blurt out. dont kill me with your sharp words on your own blogs if i write what i want
[its called a guilty conscience.].
i write what i want, and i'm not taking them off, from now on. unless its really stupid.
and if you're this extremely chinese twit wondering and trying to garner a lot of enemies against me due to my total hate for twits, then it wont work, unless you have my password.
which you dont have, so that's too bad for you.
(:
your life sucks.
pinchysweet@hotmail.com if you want to give me janelhatemail. dont destroy my tagboard.
love, janel.
ps: if you're putting an ad on my tagboard, click it
ONCE.
i'll check it out, dont worry. i have too much time on my hands anyway.
people love me.

i'm back from thailand!
i've written all my thoughts down at night during the trip, after i did my bible study.
the whole trip was one bout of laughter siaaaaal.
my mum and my brother are full of shit, that's all.
and during the whole 4 days, all we went to was the night market along our hotel The Manhattan, which we stayed for one night, and a lot of pickpockets around, Chatuchak [we went there for 2 days in fact], MBK [near our hotel Asia Hotel which we stayed for 2 nights], Siam Square, Centre and Discovery, Platinum Fashion Mall, Chinatown and Khao San.
that's it.
we never visited any museums or temples [thank God], the whole trip was focused on shopping.
and i bought so much shit, 40+ in all, with just 200 bucks SING.
SUPER lot of tops, 3 bottoms, 3 dresses, plus all the presents i got for friends.
i only got for char, tess, minghui, val, elena, rosy, michelle, mao, janey, if i'm not wrong.
because on the 2nd day, my mum realized i've been buying a lot of things, and i wasn't planning to use them.
dang.
but oh well, the rest, i'll get from singapore for your christmases. :D
shitload of photos coming up, with excerpts from my diaaary.
30th November.
1st day in Thailand!walao, i hate Tiger Airways luh. Firstly, the seats are hard and you cannot lean back to sleep. Then you have to buy the food, which sucks as well.i had a chicken and potato sandwich at $5. what the heck right. THEN the flight took AGES. i know its only 2 hours, but hello ah. it felt like 10. HAHAHA.then i was so sleepy due to the lack of sleep, and the taxi ride to the hotel was so dreary. but then hor, the hotel was nice eh. it looked like a 4-star hotel from the outside. The Manhattan Bangkok. but inside, they upgraded our hotel room to a penthouse suite due to the lack of rooms, and the penthouse was more of a guestroom.
at the hotel lobby. special price if you can make a guess.
but, it was okay. there were a lot of 'pasar malams' downstairs and i bought an 'adidas' shorts for less than $4. i'll wear them under my skirts to hide my underwear then. There were a lot of old expats la, and there were like two thai girls each wearing extremely revealing clothing, hanging off each arm of all of them what the heck. i hate those expats for looking for sex when they probably have wives and children waiting for them back home thinking their bastard husband is on a business trip or what, and those girls for being so weak into earning their keep this way.other than that, it was fine. we ate dinner at this highend restaurant Pasta & Noodles, where the we learnt how to pronounce Tom Yum Goong [the goong has a higher pitch. tom yum GOONG!] where the super nice waitress thought we were korean. [my mum thought it would be EXTREMELY hilarious if she used those words she learnt from watching a lot of korean dramas on mysoju.com. somehow she pronounced 'thank you' as kumSIAH hamida [its kamsah hamida]. and kumSIAH is hokkien for thank you.
and the waitress thought we were korean! do we even LOOK like koreans to you? apparently yes to the waitress.]
anyway, i'm sleepy now, goodnight! LOVE JANEL.1st December.
wah wah wah. today was great sia. i bought 19 things just today and yesterday.total spent: 2663baht.chatuchak was so fun sia. i will always remember it. HAHA. after that we went to our new hotel, Hotel Asia.
mum.

blandon.

ME! we were all in the taxi on our way to the new hotel.

the BTS [like a skytrain] we took it a lot of times during our trip.

the new hotel room at Hotel Asia with my brother jumping in.

him and his stupid new sunnies from chatuchak. he thought he looked damn cool sia. he looked more like a mosquito with his all-black outfit.
then after that we went MBK.

the restaurant Coca at siam centre, where we went to eat today. its a steamboat type, and the tom yum GOONG rocked la.

dont you wish this was in singapore?

my horde from just the 2nd day.

the super pretty top/skirt/dress i got from chatuchak for only 200 baht [8 bucks]
thank you Father for a safe day, amen.
p.s: i saw se7en on TV at siam centre with his video Please Come Back [Part II]. OMG HE IS HOT.then i saw DBSK on TV at MBK with their new video. OMG XIAH IS HOTNESS.i was clutching my heart [literally] with an open mouth and mum thought i was nuts. i wasn't.2nd December.
we're going home soon!usually when we go for a holiday, i never want to go back home because the current place is so fun.but now i'm older, and i know that singapore is the best place on earth. [south korea is a close second.]platinum fashion mall was great sia. 1300+ shops chockful of clothing. and i bought so much stuff that i bargained down from the retail prices to the cheaper wholesale prices. i love bargaining yoxzxzxzxz.
platinum fashion mall. quite crowded, but DAMN fun.

the bts train.

CHATUCHAK. it was SO CROWDED.

inside chatuchak.

a super young girl playing the instrument for money.
then there was this super pro uncle. wah. "transparent" src="http://img.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vidmg.
photobucket.com/albums/v337/janel_wong_st/MOV00911.flv">
then we went back to MBK, again.

DAIRY QUEEN! the oreo rocked la.

it flies.
yeah, i cant wait to go back. i was sick, a flu, i had stomachaches from the food, and i had to be careful of what i ate. and thais, now i know why the majority are so thin and have great legs.they walk everywhere. just to the take the bts, the sky train, you have to climb one level from the ground to get tickets, and another level to the platform. no escalators. and the stairs are STEEP.i think i lost some weight from all the walking around in Chatuchak, MBK, siam square and platinum fashion mall. we walked at least a km to get to everywhere, from the hotel, because my mum thinks doesn't mean we lived in a hotel means we are royals.speaking of royals, i saw the king of thailand's picture everywhere. every building. and they are yellow shirts sold everywhere, probably to represent royalty. they are so loyal to the king luh. if singapore had a king, i wonder how loyal the singaporeans will be to our king.i bought a lot of things today, including presents for friends. total, i think i bought 30+ stuff.yeaaah, i cant wait to go home.3rd December.
we went chinatown in the morning, after we checked out of Asia Hotel. it was so so so gross la.
the amount of carbon monoxide i inhaled could have killed me.

the haze.

then we went to khao san.

eating from a roadside stall.
mum ate by the roadside, we ate at the macs at khao san.
they had cheese fries, what the heck.

and home we went.

after we checked in, we were all walking around the branded duty free shops.
and then i spotted a Hermes.
i thought it was pronounced as ERM, you see. and mum thought it was HerMIES.
and we betted 1 baht.
who won? no one.
it was erm-MES.
so whatever la.
then my brother told my mum to pronounce the cafe's name Cafe De Suvarnabhumi.
which my mum didn't know.
so we asked the lady at the cafe.
lady: Cafe De Suvanapoom.
blandon: Suvanaboom?
lady: no boom! poom!
blandon: boom!
lady: no boom! suvanaPOOM!
mum: -laughing away
and there was this huge sale at united colors of benetton, and my mum wanted to buy a bag [$40 only la!], and my brother did not want to waste anymore time because he wanted to move on already.
so we could have bought a UCB bag for only 40 sing because it was 50% off, but nooo.
he has to spoil it.
I MISS YOU SINGAPORE.
over and out 9:39 PM
